Good Morning Brock's Gap Students.  It's your friend James Spann letting you know of an opportunity to help out our friends in Texas who have been struggling after the recent devastation in their state from Hurricane Harvey.
Our school has adopted a school in Pasadena, Texas- San Jacinto Intermediate.  Our own technology coach, Mrs. Haynes, went to this school growing up way back in the 1980's!
We are going to help San Jacinto students by having a "Hats for Hurricane Help"  day next Friday, September 15th.  For a minimum of $1.00 donation you can wear a hat all day in school !
Remember that $1.00 is the minimum.  You are welcome to bring more to help our friends who have lost everything.  Maybe you can ask family, friends and neighbors if you can do some extra chores to earn some extra money to give.  Your family may also donate Walmart gift cards. The school in Texas will decide best how to use the money to help these students.
Thanks so much for adopting this school.  You have such a nice school and are so blessed.  Remember how fortunate you are as you plan to make your donation to those who have been through such a tragic and catastrophic event.
